Backend Developer
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side web application logic, a solid understanding of PHP frameworks, and the ability to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient PHP code.
- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and back-end components.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP modules.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain existing code to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or similar).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX).
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization tools.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
